Estoy contenta y satisfecha con los resultados obtenidos en la Campaña Nacional «Por un Trabajo Justo», realizada entre el 21 de octubre y el 21 de noviembre del 2016. Si bien esta Campaña nos tomó más de un año de preparación, ya que antes debimos enviar el Proyecto a quienes nos apoyaron económicamente: Federación Internacional de Trabajadores del Hogar (FITH) y OLOF PALME INTERNATIONAL CENTER; una vez aprobado, pudimos comenzar a concretar los objetivos planteados, que fueron principalmente, volver a visibilizar nuestras demandas y derechos ante la sociedad de Chile, ya que necesitamos hacer conciencia de nuestros derechos a través del cumplimiento de nuestra ley 20.786 y del Convenio 189 de OIT.
Tuvimos el apoyo directo de los siguientes organismos del estado: Fundación Prodemu, Ministerio del Trabajo y Dirección del Trabajo, Ministerio de la Mujer y Equidad de Género, Instituto de Seguridad laboral (ISL), Servicio Nacional de Capacitación y empleo (Sence). Y además del importante apoyo de la caja de Compensación Gabriela Mistral, quienes nos facilitaron su centro recreacional ubicado en la comuna de La Florida, donde pudimos hacer nuestros talleres y reunir a las compañeras de regiones y Santiago, en las jornadas del 19 y 20 de noviembre.
Salimos a las calles a entregar nuestros volantes con toda la información acerca de nuestra ley 20.786, resolvimos dudas de trabajadoras y de empleadores, hicimos un taller en Concepción, y además las compañeras de Sintracap La Serena, pudieron replicar una jornada de difusión en la cuarta región.
Siento que como ya dije, logramos nuestros objetivos, nuestro cierre fue tremendamente exitoso, logramos congregar a más de 150 asistentes, entre autoridades de gobierno y compañeras de todos los sindicatos agrupados en nuestra Federación. Las Autoridades presentes (Seremi del Trabajo, Subsecretario del Trabajo, Director Nacional del Trabajo, Director Nacional y Director Metropolitano del ISL y Directora Nacional de Prodemu) se comprometieron ahí mismo a seguir apoyando y reforzando nuestra ley, expresando sus intenciones claras de la continuidad de un trabajo directo junto a nuestra Federación.
